Background & Approach
With over 30 years dedicated to health and well-being, I bring both clinical expertise and real-world experience to the work I do today. I’m a psychiatric nurse, board-certified nurse coach, and former health educator whose career has spanned classrooms, clinical settings, and community programs — all grounded in practical tools that help people regulate stress, build resilience, and show up with intention.
My path — from teaching wellness in the Peace Corps to supporting youth in classrooms and providing psychiatric care — has shaped the way I think about well-being: not as an abstract concept, but as a set of skills people can build and strengthen over time. That foundation naturally evolved into organizational work, where my focus is helping teams and leaders navigate stress, strengthen connection, and create sustainable well-being practices.
Coaching Philosophy
I believe resilience is built through awareness, practice, and small, consistent shifts. Stress is not a personal flaw — it is a natural physiological response that can be understood, regulated, and strengthened over time. When people learn how their nervous system works, they gain the ability to respond with intention rather than react from overwhelm.
My approach blends clinical insight with practical application. I focus on translating evidence-based concepts into tools that are usable in real time — during a difficult conversation, in the middle of a demanding workday, or when navigating personal stress.
The work is not about dramatic transformation. It’s about developing skills that support steadiness, clarity, and sustainable well-being — both individually and within teams.
With over 30 years dedicated to health, education, and well-being, I bring a multidisciplinary background that bridges clinical care, teaching, and coaching.
